In the bottom drawer of her sewing cabinet, my mother always
kept a box marked "Bits". These were the oddities -- a scrap
of satin, a bobbin of shining blue thread, that button shaped
like a flower -- which had no real connection with the family
wardrobe, but which were wonderful to look at and "might
possibly be useful one day, in the right circumstances".
Here you will find a similar hodgepodge of tidbits and tassels,
bound together by nothing more than their shared origins --
each item was carefully crafted by a member of the gaming
industry. Amidst the cartoons and columns, rants and jokes,
perhaps you will find something which is wonderful to look at,
and perfect for your very own circumstances.

we're posting the names which go with each picture. Ever
wondered what Al Lowe or Roberta Williams looked like in their
footie-pajama days? Let's go see who's
who...

Trek Ahoy
After checking out the latest batch of impending Star Trek

moos left, the ineffable Steve Bieler has resurrected
his very own plot from the classic
Trek universe and will soon be shopping it around to
software companies everywhere.
Well, maybe not.
