Comments: As many of the candidates start to tire from their marathon run, overdressed Leorio is among those who falter. Nearly collapsing, he tries to continue, but Tompa convinces him that the smell from a nearby side passage is that of the legendary Healing Cedar sap, which speeds recovery from exhaustion.
Unfortunately for Leorio, Tompa is a right bastard, and there's no such thing as Healing Cedar. The sap in the corridor is a hallucinogen which targets your worst possible memories. Under the influence of that miasma, Leorio finds himself face to dearly-departed face with his childhood friend Pietro, who died of a heart illness because his family had no money for medical treatment.
